William Carvalho still hopes for West Ham move

The Daily Mirror claims that Sporting CP midfielder William Carvalho remains keen on joining West Ham United.

The Hammers attempted to bring the Portugal international to London in the summer transfer window, but ultimately failed to reach an agreement with the Lions.

The two clubs have since accused each other of lying about a proposed offer, but the midfielder, nonetheless, hopes they will find an understanding ahead of the January window.

William Carvalho clearly has his eyes set on moving to English Premier League, and the reality is he is ready for the biggest stage.

The 25-year-old has been an important player for both club and country for several years now and he started five games at the Euro 2016 finals as Portugal went on to claim the coveted title.
