Willian could be set for Man United move

Reports earlier this week suggested that Premier League giants Chelsea were looking to sell Willian in order to finance a deal for PSG’s Lucas Moura, and that news has reportedly prompted interest from Manchester United in the Brazilian winger.

United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on a reunion with Willian, according to the Star, as the pair apparently had a good working relationship during the former’s time in charge at Chelsea. This fact alone could be enough to convince the player to make the move north to Manchester, and staying in the Premier League also has its appeals.

Willian has featured in all 12 of Chelsea’s league games so far this season, but his game time has been sporadic and he has often been limited to cameos from the substitutes bench. The winger is yet to find the back of the net, and has registered just one assist, so a move could be the perfect way to rediscover some form.
