Willian set for Chelsea stay

The Daily Star understands that Willian is happy at Chelsea amid interest from Manchester United.

The twenty-eight year old has only been used as a bit-part player under Antonio Conte, making just thirteen league starts though he has chipped in with seven goals to help them clinch the Premier League title.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is keen to make a bid for the winger he worked with for two-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge.

Since arriving in England Willian has racked up one hundred and seventy-seven appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty goals while he has won two Premier League titles and the League Cup.

Internationally, he has been capped forty-three times for his country, scoring seven times and was part of the squad that attended the World Cup finals in Brazil three years ago.

With the league in the bag, Antonio Conte’s side face Arsenal in the FA Cup final a week on Saturday and are priced at 1/2 to lift the trophy.
