Willian targeted by Manchester United

The Independent understands that Chelsea’s Willian could be set to make a move to Manchester United.

The Brazil international is the latest Blues star to be linked with a switch to Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho expected to be revealed as the Red Devils’ new manager in the coming days.

Fellow midfielder Nemanja Matic has also emerged as a target for the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan and Porto boss.

Willian moved to Stamford Bridge from Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer of 2013 and has since racked up one hundred and thirty-seven appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring nineteen goals.

He was part of the squad that won the Premier League and League Cup, under Mourinho in 2015.

Internationally, the twenty-seven year old has been capped thirty times for his country, scoring six goals amd five of those appearances came at the 2014 World Cup finals.
