Arsenal have apparently been handed a boost with reports that midfielder Jack Wilshere is recovering quickly from injury.
The 20-year-old suffered an ankle injury against New York Red Bulls last year and underwent surgery due to a lack of progress following the injury. His comeback was further delayed due to a stress fracture.
Now, however, The Sunday Mirror reports that the midfielder has made excellent progress and could even return to action next month, if his scans come back all clear.
Wilshere will be vying for a place not only in the Londoners’ first team but also in England’s squad for the European Championships hosted by Poland and Ukraine in mid-year.
