Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso says his side remain focused on winning despite being a ‘team in transition’.
The Serie A giants parted company with experienced players such as Maicon, Julio Cesar and Giampaolo Pazzini in the close-season transfer window in a bid to revitalise their fortunes, but have struggled for consistency this term.
“We’re a team in transition, but we want to win every match. We need to remain calm, and we’ll try our best,” Cambiasso told Inter Channel.
Inter beat Palermo 1-0 at the weekend after failing to win their previous four games, and Cambiasso underlined the importance of the victory.
“We needed to get back to winning ways to continue our progress,” the Argentine said.
Inter currently sit third in the Serie A table, trailing leaders Juventus by four points.
