Wolfsburg looking at Shaw

Wolfsburg are interested in securing a deal for Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-three-year-old has struggled to hold down a first team place since returning from a horrific knee injury early in the 2015/16 season.

He made just eight league starts last term but is determined to stay and fight for a new deal at Old Trafford with his current contract set to expire next summer.

Since signing from Southampton in June 2014 he has played just sixty-six times in all competitions.

He is however in with a good chance of being selected for United’s Premier League opener with Leicester City next Friday with fellow full-backs Antonio Valencia and Diogo Dalot injured and Matteo Darmian strongly linked with a move to Napoli.

Having finished in second place behind neighbours Manchester City last term the Red Devils can be backed at 7/1 to end the 2018/19 campaign as champions.
