Wolves 8/11 to beat Burnley in Sunday’s Premier League matchup

Competition: Premier League

Market: Wolves win

Odds: 8/11 @ Bet 365

Struggling to keep up their momentum from last season, Sean Dyche’s Burnley side will travel to Molineux on Sunday afternoon looking for their first win of the new season.

Starting with the hosts, after running away with the Championship last season, many have labeled Wolves as the most equipped side to be promoted. Coming off the back of a 1-0 win away at a struggling West Ham before the international break, Nuno Espírito Santo’s outfit have lost just one of their last five matches in all competitions. With record signing Adama Traore scoring the winner last week, The Oranges also played out a very impressive 1-1 draw with defending champions Manchester City in their last game at home. Given the gulf in recent form, we’re backing Wolves to get a third win on the bounce in all competitions.

As for the visitors, although Sean Dyche’s side enjoyed a record-breaking year last season, The Clarets have been drastically short of form entering the new season. Crashing out of the Europa League qualifiers at the hands of Olympiakos, Burnley are also coming off the back of a 2-0 loss at home to Manchester United. Now sat second bottom of the table and losing their last three Premier League matches on the bounce, it will be their defensive issues most worrying Dyche. in fact, Burnley have now shipped nine in their last three and hold the second worst defensive record in the division.
