Wolves to make stunning Andre Silva approach

It seems like quite the step-down for a player to make a move from Serie A giants AC Milan to Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, but that could be exactly what Andre Silva is set to do at the end of the season, according to talkSPORT.

Wolves will reportedly make a stunning bid for the striker should they get promoted to the Premier League for next season. The Midlands club currently lead the Championship by 11 points over Derby County, and they are the easy favourites to reach the top flight.

AC Milan meanwhile turned down a rumoured £34m bid from the Championship side in Janaury for Silva, who is without a single goal or assist in the Serie A this season, despite making 14 appearances.

The Portuguese forward does however, slightly perplexingly, have six goals in six Europa League games this season, and he bagged 16 goals for Porto in the 2016/17 Primeira Liga.
