Barcelona star Xavi was delighted after their impressive 6-2 win over rivals Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
Barca are now likely to win La Liga this season and Xavi has branded their win over Real Madrid as ‘a historic result’.
Xavi said: “It is a historic result.
“We are ecstatic. We are not yet champions, but it is an important step towards the title.
“It is one of our better team performances.”
He continued: “We pressured them and were able to score a lot of goals.
“All the Barca fans deserve this. There are only a few games left, and we must not let up.”
Barcelona will face Chelsea in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

I’m very glad that my darling club the catalan giant stave reak madrid yesturday.
I’m very optimistic that on wednesday they also keep the flag of barcelona high and higher by defeating chelsea at standford brigde.
