Everton striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has heaped praise on new Manchester United striker Michael Owen.
Aiygebeni believes Owen can be a success at Old Trafford, after signing a two-year deal with Manchester United on Friday.
Owen was out of contract at Newcastle United and has joined Manchester United on a free transfer.
“It’s not a big shock. He’s a great player. He’s a great striker. He can score goals there,” Aiygebeni told Sky Sports News.
“I wish him the best and I still believe he can score goals.”
Owen was also being linked with Aston Villa, Hull and Stoke.
