The News of the World claims that the Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure will join Arsenal this summer in a deal worth just under €14 million.
The Premier League giants desperately need a tough-tackling enforcer in the centre of the pitch, having lost – and failed to replace – Mathieu Flamini, Gilberto Silva and Lassana Diarra last year.
Toure has often commented on his desire to play in the Premier League one day, and brother Kolo’s presence in north London makes that the most likely destination.
