Lazio are the only club interested in signing Galatasaray’s Burak Yilmaz, according to the prolific striker’s agent.
The Turkish champions have already rejected a bid for the Turkey international from the Italian side, with president Unal Aysal describing the offer as “funny”.
Liverpool have also been linked with the player but, according to Ali Egesel, Vladimir Petkovic’s side are the only ones still intent on his signature.
Egesel also rejected reports that Chelsea had turned their attention to the striker, who scored 32 goals in 39 games in his debut season for Gala last term, after seeing a move for Wayne Rooney stall.
“Lazio are the only side in the running to sign him,” Egesel told the Corriere dello Sport.
“They have made an important offer for him, but it has not been accepted for now because Galatasaray don’t want to lose him.
“Chelsea want him? Not true.
“The only offer was presented by Lazio, the player is focused on the next games.”
The former Trabzonspor man was part of Fatih Terim’s squad that won the Turkish Super Lig for a second successive season last time out.
He also scored Galatasaray’s second goal in their 2-1 win league win over Gaziantepspor on Monday.
