Young pens new United deal

Ashley Young is set to put an end to speculation surrounding his future by signing a new £120,000 per week deal at Manchester United, according to the Mail Online.

The England international has been at Old Trafford for the past four seasons, racking up one-hundred and fifteen appearances in all competitions, scoring thirteen goals and was part of the squad that won the Premier League title two seasons ago – Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge.

He had been strongly linked with a move away from Manchester this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur seemingly the front runners to secure his services though he has committed his future to Louis van Gaal’s side, who kick of the 2015/16 Premier League season against Spurs on Saturday lunch-time.

Having broken back into the Champions League qualification places back last year, United can be backed at a price of 5/1 to win the title this time around.
