Cristian Zaccardo said he believes AC Milan are in good shape ahead of the Serie A clash against Fiorentina.
The San Siro outfit hold a six-point lead over their fourth-placed opponents Fiorentina, and Zaccardo is determined to deal the Tuscans’ Champions League ambitions a significant blow on Sunday.
The top three in the Italian top flight are assured of a group-stage spot in Europe’s elite competition for the 2013-14 campaign.
“We’re ready for Sunday’s match in Florence. Adriano Galliani said that Fiorentina are our most dangerous rival, but we’re in good shape,” Zaccardo told Milan Channel.
“With only eight matches left, games like this become even more important.
“We hope that we can do what we did in Verona (against Chievo). We’re in good form at the moment and there’s a lot of enthusiasm in every training session.”
