Javier Zanetti says Inter are not thinking about Juventus yet as they are focused on Wednesday’s match against Sampdoria.
Inter defeated Bologna 3-1 at the weekend to move to third place in the Serie A table, and are seen as one of Juve’s biggest rivals in the Scudetto race.
Nevertheless, Zanetti has stressed that they are taking things one game at a time as he feels Inter still have a long way to go.
“There’s no point talking about Saturday’s game against Juventus just yet because we’ve got Sampdoria before then,” Zanetti told the official Inter website.
“There’s a long way to go but if we keep playing like this we can be up there challenging when it matters.”
The Argentine defender then briefly discussed his side’s win over Bologna, and was quite pleased with Inter’s display.
“We turned in a top performance and won at a difficult ground. We have to keep our season going like this.”
Inter are trailing leaders Juventus by four points.
