Real Zaragoza coach Paco Herrera has revealed the second division Spanish club are interested in signing Manchester United striker Angelo Henriquez.
The 19-year was unable to crack the first team at Old Trafford under now retired manager Sir Alex Ferguson after joining United last September.
He played eight games for Wigan on loan last season and his future under new boss David Moyes is unclear.
“We are very interested in Angelo Henriquez,” Herrera told El Mercurio.
“We have been following him and we hope to get a response from their club soon.
“He is a striker full of technical qualities, could be a good signing.”
It is understood Henriquez is open to a further loan move this season on the proviso he is guaranteed first-team football.
The teenager scored 15 times in 28 appearances for his first professional club Universidad de Chile before being snapped up by United.
