(GSM) – Cristiano Ronaldo showed his negative side this weekend when he was sent off against Almeria, but the Portugese winger stept back into the spotlights in a positive way on Tuesday night. The world’s most expensive player scored two times against Olympique Marseille and had a big part in Real Madrid’s 1-3 win. Zinedine Zidane was stunned by Ronaldo’s performance.

The former Real Madrid talisman states Ronaldo is ‘phenomenal.’ “He does great things, sometimes even better than me,” Zidane told AS. “I enjoy watching Real play lately, each week they’re better as a team.”

Ronaldo sticked to the default lines after the match in France. “We played a good game,” the former Mancunian said. “I want to congratulate my teammates, because everybody did very well. I’m very happy for scoring two times and because we’ve advanced to the next round. We’re full of confidence and that’s important.”
