The arrival of former Arsenal frontman Alexis Sanchez is expected to limit Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s time at Manchester United significantly and the latest word has it that the experienced Swedish striker is thinking about leaving the club.
According to reports coming from ESPN, the MLS side LA Galaxy are once again having their sights set on signing the Swede after failing to get a deal done prior to his devastating knee injury last April.
The 36-year-old forward has made a miraculous recovery and managed seven appearances for United this season. He endured another setback towards the end of December but is due to resume training.
The physicality of the Premier League is, however, taking its toll on the veteran striker and with Alexis Sanchez ready to limit Zlatan’s playing time even further the talks between the player and LA Galaxy have resumed.
LA Galaxy are said to be trying to seal the switch with the help of targeted allocation money with sponsors and third-party sources reportedly ready to kick in the extra money to support Ibrahimovic’s salary.
