Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hoping to leave Old Trafford this winter, according to a report by Yahoo.

The veteran forward signed a one-year extension last summer, but he missed the first part of the season through injury.

Having not featured much since resuming full training, Ibrahimovic reportedly wants to leave the Red Devils in the January transfer window.

The 36-year-old hopes the club will agree to rescind his contract, allowing him to sign a lucrative deal with a side from United States or China.

After bagging 17 goals in his maiden Premier League campaign, Ibrahimovic only made five league appearances this term, spending just one 100 minutes on the pitch.
