Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen FC have announced the signing of midfielder Yoann Folly and striker Scott Vernon. The duo are the Dons’ fourth and fifth signings of the summer window after Rory McArdle, Josh McGennis and Mark Howard.
Folly was a free agent after being released by Plymouth Argyle at the end of last season. He was on trial for the last few weeks and impressed Dons boss Mark McGhee sufficiently enough to bag a new contract.
26 year old Vernon has also been snapped up on a free transfer. The striker has previously represented the likes of Oldham, Blackpool, Colchester, Gillingham, Northampton and Southend in England.
