Antonio Sanabria set for AS Roma return

Estadio Deportivo has learned that Real Betis forward Antonio Sanabria will soon be returning to AS Roma.

Los Verdiblancos secured the services of the Paraguayan in exchange for €7.5 million and 50% sell-on fee last summer, whereas the Giallorossi also included an €11 million buy-back clause.

Considering that Sanabria has since impressed in La Liga, scoring 7 goals in just 6 starts, everything suggests said clause will be triggered at the end of the season.

AS Roma officials are aware that the forward’s price has increased a great deal and they could immediately sell him on for profit.

The deal will also prove good for Real Betis, who will earn €3.5 million and also avoid paying another €7.5 million in the summer of 2019 under the agreement.
