Arsenal eye Vasilije Kostov

Arsenal are monitoring Red Star Belgrade attacking midfielder Vasilije Kostov, according to well-known and well-respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano said about Arsenal and Kostov on his YouTube channel: “His name is Vasilije Kostov. He is an offensive midfielder playing for Red Star Belgrade, 17 years old, very interesting player, very interesting player with potential.

“Italian clubs and German clubs have been tracking, but  now, it’s true, what’s being reported in Serbia.

“Also Arsenal are following Kostov, and they are following him closely.

“They made contact with people close to the player. They are considering a move for him.

“Arsenal want to invest also on talents, not only on established players, so Kostov is one of the talents Arsenal are monitoring.”

Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 73 points from 34 matches, three points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
