Arsenal to go after Tah

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Premier League side Arsenal are ready and willing to make a move for defender Jonathan Tah. The Bayer Leverkusen star has been the source of great interest across European football, with the belief being that Arsenal’s renewed intrigue in him comes from the fact that they discovered he has a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave Germany for a fee of €40 million if the clause is activated prior to UEFA Euro 2020.

The Gunners have made a few moves in the transfer market since Mikel Arteta made his way into the club as their new manager, but this would certainly be a statement within itself. Their weakest area is at the back and that’s not exactly a secret, so if they can find some kind of loophole that will allow them to bring in a great player like Tah, they should take advantage of that.
