Aston Villa in talks over signing Milot Rashica

According to The Express & Star, Aston Villa are interested in signing Milot Rashica from Werder Bremen in the summer transfer window. It has been reported that the Premier League club are in talks with the German club over the transfer of the 24-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

Werder are looking for £18 million as transfer fee to cash in on the Kosovo international, who has been on the books of their books since the summer of 2018. Rashica made 27 starts and one substitute appearance in the Bundesliga last season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Villa have been quite busy in the summer transfer window so far, having signed Ollie Watkins from Brentford and Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest, while Andre Green, James Chester and Matija Sarkic are among the players who have left Villa Park.
