The Oakland Athletics shocked the MLB and college football worlds by selecting Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray number nine overall in the 2018 MLB Draft.
Murray, a star two-sport athlete for the Sooners, batted .296 with 10 homers, 47 RBIs, 46 runs and a .398 on-base percentage over 51 games last season.
He will now have to decide whether or not he wants to sign with Oakland or return to school.
The ninth pick has a value of $4.76million, according to MLB.com.

Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley believes Murray will stay with the Sooners and play football.
Murray is the frontrunner to start at quarterback for Oklahoma after serving as Baker Mayfield’s backup last year.
Murray, an outfielder, was drafted higher than expected, making his decision even tougher.
