The Telegraph is reporting that Atletico Madrid are seriously considering a summer move for Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette.
Los Colchoneros are bracing for big money offer from Manchester United for forward Antoine Griezmann and if the Frenchman leaves in the summer, they will attempt to sign the Ligue 1 striker.
Alexandre Lacazette has been on fire for several years now and Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas admits les Gones are ready to cash in on their prized asset.
The 25-year-old has now scored at least 21 goals in each of last three Ligue 1 campaigns, and he is one of Europe’s most prolific strikers this term with 26 goals in all competitions.
Having spent his entire career up to date at Lyon, Lacazette appears to have decided to embark on a new challenge, although Atletico Madrid will face competition from Barcelona, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund among other clubs.
