Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are both considering the possibility of signing Suso from AC Milan, according to several media reports in Italy.
The winger started his career with Cadiz, but he only played for their U-19 side before joining Liverpool’s U-23s in 2010. He progressed through the ranks with the Merseyside club and finally got a first-team opportunity in 2012, playing a total of 20 matches. However, the only output he produced was a single assist in the League Cup and he was subsequently shipped out on loan to Almeria, before making a permanent switch to Milan in 2015. He also had a half-season loan spell with Genoa, but for the last three and a half years he’s been an ever-present in the ranks of the Rossoneri.
This season hasn’t been going well, neither for him nor for Milan, who were forced to sack the manager they appointed only last summer, Marco Giampaoli, and replaced him with Stefano Pioli. Under Pioli, Suso hasn’t been starting games as often as he would have liked, and though there has apparently been interest in the Premier League for his services as well, the 26-year-old is most likely to return to Spain if he leaves Milan.
