Barca to try for Griezmann again?

According to L’Equipe, Atleltico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann is already considering his future again after Atletico’s Champions League exit at the hands of Juventus.

The French forward had been linked with a move to Camp Nou throughout last season, and it was a saga that picked up pace and tangibility as time went on. He was eventually presented with a “take it or leave it” offer from the Catalans, and after a period of consideration, he rejected the Catalans’ advances and signed a new deal with Atletico in June last year.

However, the report suggests his thoughts may have changed now, and he may be willing to try his luck away from the Wanda Metropolitano. His contract contains a €200 million buyout clause, but it’s set to drop to €120 million this summer.

Spanish outlet Marca have quoted L’Equipe’s story and added that such development could truly open a door for Barcelona to try again.
