Barcelona announce the signing of Braga youngster

Barcelona keep surprising their fans. After the stories about the Blaugrana going after Rodrigo Moreno from Valencia, then Dusan Tadic of Ajax and then finally Richarlison from Everton, as they are pursuing a new number nine to replace the injured Luis Suarez, a completely different signing has been announced by the club.

Barcelona have signed SC Braga’s Francisco Trincao for a transfer fee of 31 million euros! Trincao is a left-footed right winger who is 20 years old and will be joining his new club in the summer of 2020. Barcelona and the player signed a contract until the end of the 2024-25 season, with a buy-out clause of 500 million euros!

Trincao is not a well known youngster who became a regular fixture in Braga’s starting lineup in the past month or so. He is a talented player, but it is expected that Barcelona will be a big step up for him so fast.
