According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona aren’t concerned about reports linking Real Madrid with a move for Luka Jovic – who is one of Barca’s primary targets. The Spanish champions believe that they are the favourites to secure the signature of the Serbian forward, who is currently the top goalscorer in Bundesliga.

The 21 year old, who appeared at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Serbia, is currently signed to Benfica but is out on loan with Eintracht Frankfurt. It’s with the German club that the youngster has been able to flourish, scoring 13 goals so far in the league this season.

Of course, moving to Spain is a whole different ball game altogether, although Barca appear to be confident that he’d make a smooth transition if the deal was made.

Barcelona are now reportedly looking to bring in a back up forward, as speculation continues over the future of Luis Suarez.
