Barcelona respond to Arsenal interest in Raphinha

Arsenal are interested in signing Raphinha in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. However, Barcelona do not want to sell the former Leeds United winger and have opened talks with the Brazil international over a new contract.

Raphinha is having a wonderful season at Barcelona, who believe that he could win the Ballon d’Or if they win the UEFA Champions League this season. The winger himself is loving life at the La Liga club and is ready to commit his long-term future to the Blaugrana. Raphinha has scored 27 goals and made 19 assists in 41 appearances for Barcelona this season.

Arsenal are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 55 points from 28 matches, 15 points behind leaders Liverpool, who have played 29 games. Meanwhile, Barcelona currently find themselves at the top of the La Liga table with 57 points from 26 matches, level on points with second-placed and defending champions Real Madrid, who have played 27 games.
