According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Spanish giants Barcelona are interested in selling Denis Suarez at some point during the January transfer window. Alas, Suarez is only interested in leaving the Nou Camp for Arsenal and nobody else, but they aren’t able to put in a permanent offer for him – which is what Barca are looking for. He is currently valued at around £17 million, which you’d think the Gunners would be able to afford, but instead they put forward £1.7 million in order to bring him to the Emirates on loan until the end of the season. There would be no compulsory purchase clause attached to it, meaning that there’s a good chance he’d go straight back to Barcelona. As you can probably tell, that’s not a scenario that either party are all too interested in right now.
