Bayern approach Eriksen

Christian Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur would be open to joining Bayern Munich, according to German television Sport1.

The Denmark international runs out of contract at the end of the season, and Spurs would likely be willing to part ways with him in January in order to avoid losing him for free. He has been linked most heavily with Real Madrid in the recent transfer windows with various reports claiming he was being considered as an alternative to Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, but it seems the Bundesliga champions are ready to step in and steal the show.

Reports in Spain claim that Real would be willing to pay £25 million for the 27-year-old midfielder, but Bayern have apparently already approached him in order to discuss his potential move to the Allianz Arena this winter.

Eriksen was able to see for himself what kind of a team the Bavarians are when they came to north London and put seven past Spurs in the Champions League earlier this month.
