Portuguese giants Benfica have revealed they have sold 100% of economic rights of Andre Gomes and Rodrigo Moreno to private company Meriton Capital Limited.

The Eagles released a statement to Securities Market Commission of Portugal announcing they had sold the two players for €15m and €30m respectively.

Benfica will also be entitled to 25% of the future transfer fee for Andre Gomes, whereas they could earn another €10 million in various performance related bonuses from the sale of Rodrigo Moreno.

The two players will remain at Estadio da Luz until the end of the season, and will probably leave the club in the summer.

Despite seeing little first team action this season, Andre Gomes is held in high regard by top European clubs, with Liverpool, Monaco and Manchester City reportedly keen.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo Moreno is widely tipped to join Zenit at the end of the current campaign, with the 22-year-old in fine form this season, having scored 7 goals in 14 league appearances.
