Besiktas interested in Tosun

According to Sky Sports, Besiktas are interested in re-signing Cenk Tosun from Everton.

The striker left the Turkish club to join the Toffees in January 2018 for a reported fee of £20 million. Unable to earn a regular place in the team, he moved to Crystal Palace on loan two years later, but his spell was interrupted after two months by an ACL injury. Back at Everton, he has mostly been playing second fiddle to Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is now the established first-choice centre-forward under Carlo Ancelotti. This term, Tosun has made only five league appearances so far, and one in each cup. His only goal came in the FA Cup triumph over Championship side Rotherham United earlier this month.

Keen to reinforce their attack, Besiktas have made the 29-year-old their primary target, but at the moment, finding an agreement with Everton seems to be a difficult task for them. If they fail to do that, they could move for Hulk, who is a free agent following his departure from Shanghai SIPG.

CSKA Moscow are also interested in Tosun.
