Starting with the hosts, while Adelaide might have been last seen putting in a flat display away at Wellington earlier in the month, Carl Veart’s men should be smelling the chance to find an immediate response here. Last seen getting hit with a 3-1 loss on the road, that result brought an end to their five-match unbeaten run. Nevertheless, impressing many across the A-League since opening up the new campaign, they have also gained a reputation for their continued success at Cooper Stadium. On a run that is highlighted by a thumping 3-0 romp against Melbourne Victory on November 11th, Adelaide have lost just one of their previous nine showdowns in South Australia – a run that stems all the way back to the start of April.
