Competition: League One

Market: Over 1.5 goals

Odds: 4/11 @ 888sport

Hoping to widen their buffer in the play-off places on Tuesday night, Bolton will make the trip to Whaddon Road when they meet Cheltenham.

Starting with the hosts, while Cheltenham might still find themselves looking over their shoulder at the drop zone, the Robins should find the mood in their camp at a recent high. Opening up October with a deserved 2-0 victory at home against Shrewsbury, Wade Elliott’s men have begun to skyrocket their way up the League One table. Finding a way to build off of their 2-1 win against Walsall on September 20th, the Gloucestershire-based outfit have now lost just one of their previous six domestic contests. Likewise, mustering nine points from just their last four third-tier contests, Elliott’s side will be desperate to spring an upset here. However, hit with a 2-1 loss when they welcomed Bolton to Whaddon Road back in April, Cheltenham will know that they still face a tough task on Tuesday night.

As for the visitors, while Bolton might have just missed out on a play-off spot last season, the Whites have come flying out the traps this time around. Last seen over the weekend putting in another impressive display as they picked up a 2-0 victory at home against Lincoln, Ian Evatt’s men have a Championship return at the top of their agenda. In fact, on a run that is underlined by a stellar 4-1 romp against Crewe back on August 30th, it should be highlighted that the Trotters have won each of their last four League One matchups. Impressing with their recent displays in the final third, Tuesday’s guests will be looking to extend on their top-six charge here. However, it should be noted, with each of their last three meetings producing nine strikes, we’re backing what could be another enjoyable affair in Gloucestershire.

Bet: Over 1.5 goals at Cheltenham Town vs Bolton 4/11 for Tuesday’s League One matchup @ 888sport
