Competition: Spanish Segunda

Market: Eibar win

Odds: 19/20 @ 888sport

Hoping to widen their buffer at the top of the Segunda table on Sunday afternoon, Eibar will welcome Andorra to the Ipurua Municipal Stadium.

Starting with the hosts, mounting what was a remarkable second-half comeback away at Mirandes last weekend, Eibar are in the midst of what has become a remarkable Segunda flurry. Eventually snatching a dramatic 3-2 victory away from the Ipurua Municipal Stadium, Gaizka Garitano’s men have only continued to gain a string of admirers from across Spain this season. Holding a four-point buffer over the chasing pack, it is no secret that Los Armeros are tipped as a runaway pick to claim a La Liga return in 2023. With the mood in their camp at a red-hot high, Eibar have certainly come roaring back since their brief February wobble. In fact, on a run that is highlighted by a routine 2-0 victory against Villarreal B last month, Sunday’s hosts have now won each of their last five straight Segund appearances by an aggregate score of 9-2.

As for the visitors, although Andorra might have been last seen mounting their own stellar second-half comeback, Eder Sarabia’s men were disappointed after only collecting a 2-2 draw at home against relegation scrappers Ibiza. While the Tricolours might have found a crucial boost over the past month that has seen them skyrocket away from a potential bottom-four scrap, the one-time Barcelona coach will be more than aware that his side faces a huge challenge on Sunday afternoon. Mustering just a pair of wins from any of their last 10 straight Segunda outings – a run that stems all the way back to January 7th – Andorra have also shown some extended issues on the road. It should be highlighted, Sarabia’s side have lost five of their previous six appearances away from the Estadi Nacional.

Bet: Eibar 19/20 to beat Andorra in Sunday’s Segunda matchup @ 888sport
