Looking to make it back-to-back Nations League victories on Tuesday evening, Montenegro will make the trip to Helsinki when they meet Finland.

Starting with the hosts, after putting in what was a largely gritty display when opening their Nations League adventure last weekend, Finland would have been left hugely frustrated by their late collapse. Eventually shipping a 93rd-minute equalizer at home against Bosnia and having to settle for a 1-1 draw, Head Coach Markku Kanerva has seen his side gain a reputation for their inconsistencies. Now failing to win any of their last four matchups across all formats, including a 2-0 loss against Slovakia in a friendly contest on March 29th, the Eagle-owls should also be worried by their rather glaring struggles on home soil. On a run that stems all the way back to a 1-0 win against Ireland in October 2020, Finland have managed to win just one of their previous 11 appearances in front of their own supporters.

As for the visitors, while Montenegro might have failed to make any real charge for a World Cup play-off place last year, the Reds should find the mood in their camp at a recent high. Opening their Nations League run with a deserved 2-0 victory against Romania on home soil a few days ago, Miodrag Radulović’s men have now claimed back-to-back wins across all formats. Likewise, also collecting an eye-catching point when they faced off against European giants Holland in a qualifying showdown seven months ago, they could be smelling another chance here. However, despite being tipped as a standout pick to clinch promotion to League A, Montenegro have shown some issues on foreign soil. Last seen on their travels getting hit with a 1-0 loss at the hands of Armenia, they have recorded just a single away victory since March 2021.

Bet: Under 2.5 goals at Finland vs Montenegro 4/6 for Tuesday’s Nations League matchup @ 888sport
