Bitesize Prediction: Hull vs West Brom – 03/03/23

Competition: Championship

Market: West Brom draw no bet

Odds: 7/10 @ 888sport

Looking to secure back-to-back Championship victories on Friday night, West Brom will make the trip to the KCOM when they meet Hull.

Starting with the hosts, while Hull might have found a much-needed boost on either side of opening February, Liam Rosenior’s side have come crashing back down to earth over the past few weeks. Last seen putting in a toothless display as they slumped to a 1-0 loss away at Bristol City, the Tigers are now in the midst of a four-match winless run. With their recent issues highlighted by a 3-1 drumming at the hands of Norwich on February 14th, Hull have also managed to muster just a pair of wins from their last nine matchups across all formats. Although Friday’s hosts might almost find themselves sat in Championship limbo this year, Rosenior will have a headache over his side’s recent struggles in the final third. Along with drawing back-to-back blanks, the former Derby coach has seen his side record just one strike on their four-match winless run.

As for the visitors, managing to make what was a crucial return to winning ways last weekend as they claimed a 2-0 victory at home against a high-flying Middlesbrough, Carlos Corberan’s side will be desperate to lay down another marker here. Drawing a line under their three-match winless run, it is no secret that the Baggies have their sights set on securing a play-off ticket in 2023. Knowing that they must make up some ground in the top-six chase, the former Huddersfield boss has seen his side gain a recent reputation for their struggles on the road. However. despite losing each of their last four matchups away from the Hawthorns, West Brom will be excited by their most recent meeting against Friday’s opponents. Picking up an action-packed 5-2 victory when they welcome Hull to the Midlands on August 20th, we’re backing an away draw no bet this weekend.

Bet: West Brom draw no bet 7/10 for Friday’s Championship matchup @ 888sport
