Competition: Brazil Serie A

Market: Internacional win

Odds: 4/5 @ 888sport

Looking to extend on what has been a stellar purple patch, Internacional will welcome Bragantino to the Estádio Beira-Rio in the early hours of Thursday.

Starting with the hosts, last seen on September 20th when picking up a deserved 2-1 victory away at Atlético Goianiense, Internacional have enjoyed a stunning campaign this season. Making a string of improvements this year, Head Coach Mano Menezes has seen his high-flying squad gain a string of plaudits from across Brazil. Marking their return to action sat second in the standings and in pole position to claim a Copa Libertadores spot, the Colorado will be smelling a golden chance to lay down another marker here. In fact, on a run that is highlighted by a 3-0 romp at home against Fluminense last month, Internacional have mustered 16 points from their last six Serie A outings. Likewise, it should also be highlighted, Menezes’ men have won their last three home fixtures by an aggregate score of 8-0.

As for the visitors, last seen throwing away the lead as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home against Goias, Bragantino find themselves in the midst of an extended rut. Now only hanging onto their spot in the top-12 thanks to their goal difference, the Red Bulls have now failed to win any of their last seven straight Serie A matchups, a run that stems all the way back to July 31st. Having to settle for a single point in four of their previous five top-flight contests, Maurício Barbieri’s men have also shown some rather glaring struggles on the road. Including a 3-0 drumming away at Sao Paulo last month, Bragantino have collected just a single point from any of their previous five showdowns away from the Estádio Nabi Abi Chedid. Given the recent gulf in class, a home victory can be found at appealing odds here.

Bet: Internacional 4/5 to beat RB Bragantino in Thursday’s Brazil Serie A battle @ 888sport
