Competition: Copa Libertadores

Market: Both teams to score – No

Odds: 8/11 @ BetUS

In what could prove to be a cagey Copa Libertadores showdown late on Tuesday night, Lanus will welcome LDU Quito to Argentina in midweek.

Starting with the hosts, although Lanus might have put a maiden Copa Libertadores victory on the board this month as they secured a gritty 1-0 victory at home against Bolivian outfit Always Ready, Mauricio Pellegrino’s men have drastically struggled to find any kind of stability since opening up the 2026 campaign. Last seen over the weekend missing out on what they had billed as a golden opportunity as they had to settle for a 0-0 stalemate at home against Central Cordoba while in domestic action, the Garnets have won just a pair of their previous seven appearances across all competitions and they have largely come crashing back down to earth since their brief March flurry. Getting April underway with another uneventful 0-0 draw against Platense, Tuesday’s hosts have also failed to find any kind of clinical edge in the final third. In fact, along with drawing back-to-back blanks, Lanus have also mustered just a pair of goals in four of their last six showdowns.

As for the visitors, watching their four-match unbeaten run come to an abrupt end over the weekend as they eventually fell to a 1-0 loss away at Emelec over the weekend, LDU Quito will be seeking an immediate response here. Getting their respective Copa Libertadores adventure underway with a 1-0 victory away at Always Ready on April 8th, Tiago Nunes’ side will be excited to turn their attention back to Group G action late on Tuesday night. In fact, securing an impressive 2-0 win at home against Brazilian outfit Mirassol on April 15th, the Whites have secured consecutive Copa Libertadores victories and are currently leading the chase at the top of the Group G standings. However, much like Tuesday’s opponents, LDU Quito have also struggled to find any real attacking edge. Drawing back-to-back domestic blanks of their own, Nunes’ side have also failed to notch more than a single strike in six of their previous eight matchups across all fronts.

Bet: Both teams *not* to score at Lanus vs LDU Quito 8/11 for Tuesday’s Copa Libertadores matchup @ BetUS
