Competition: Copa del Rey Final

Market: Karim Benzema to score anytime

Odds: 7/10 @ 888sport

With this season’s Copa del Rey crown up for grabs on Saturday night, Real Madrid and Osasuna will meet at the Estadio de La Cartuja.

Starting with Real Madrid, while Carlo Ancelotti’s side might have punched their Champions League semi-final spot last month, Los Blancos have only continued to show some rather glaring domestic issues this season. However, despite now losing two of their last three La Liga appearances, there is no doubt that the Spanish icons are seen as a standout pick to get their hands on a 20th Copa del Rey crown this weekend. Looking to get their hands on a first piece of silverware of the season, Ancelotti will be calling on a certain Karim Benzema to spearhead Madrid’s charge here. While the Whites might have long since relinquished their domestic title, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner has continued on another record-breaking flurry. Including a hat-trick as Madrid claimed a 4-2 victory against Almeria on April 29th, the 35-year-old has racked up nine goals across all competitions since returning from March’s international break and will undoubtedly spearhead Ancelotti’s charge in Sevilla.

As for the visitors, while Osasuna might have gained a string of plaudits during their Copa del Rey adventure this season, Los Rojillos have struggled to find much recent stability. Last seen getting hit with a 1-0 loss away at runaway leaders Barcelona, Jagoba Arrasate’s men have suffered back-to-back La Liga defeats for the first time since returning from March’s international break. Knowing that they face a heavyweight challenge when they make the trip to Sevilla this weekend, fans around the El Sadar have seen their side win just a trio of their last 10 appearances across all competitions – a run that stems back to March 1st. Showing some recent issues in the final third, Osasuna should also be concerned by a remarkable winless run against Saturday’s opponents. In fact, including a 2-0 loss when they last met Los Blancos on February 18th, Arrasate’s men have failed to win any of their last 18 straight meetings against Madrid.

Bet: Karim Benzema to score anytime against Osasuna 7/10 for Saturday’s Copa del Rey final @ 888sport
