Competition: Serie A

Market: Torino win

Odds: 19/20 @ 888sport

Looking to make an immediate return to winning ways on Saturday night, Torino will welcome a struggling Sassuolo to Turin.

Starting with the hosts, after putting in an impressive display away at Inter Milan last weekend, Torino would have been heartbroken by their last-gasp 1-0 loss at the San Siro. Although the Bulls might have lost two of their last three Serie A outings, that doesn’t tell the full story. Gaining plenty of plaudits from across Italy since opening the 2022/23 campaign, some in Ivan Jurić’s camp could even have their sights set on mounting a shock European charge this time around. Smelling the chance to make an immediate return to winning ways on Saturday night, Torino should be boosted by their rugged performances on home soil. Including a deserved 1-0 victory against Leece in their last appearance at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, it should also be noted that Jurić’s side have not conceded a single strike in Turin so far.

As for the visitors, after opening the 2022/23 campaign with a routine 3-0 drumming away at Juventus, Sassuolo have had very little to cheer about so far. Last seen putting in a dreadful display at the Mapei Stadium as they were hit with a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Udinese, Alessio Dionisi’s side have managed to win just one of their opening six Serie A outings. Left disappointed after having to settle for a pair of stalemates against Spezia and Cremonese on their four-match winless run, the Neroverdi should also be worried by a downbeat record against Saturday’s opponents. It should be highlighted, Sassuolo have recorded just a single victory in any of their last 13 straight meetings against Torino, a run that stems all the way back to April 2016.

Bet: Torino 19/20 to beat Sassuolo in Saturday’s Serie A showdown @ 888sport
