Bitesize Prediction: Watford vs Burnley – 30/04/22

Competition: Premier League

Market: Burnley draw no bet

Odds: 19/20 @ 888sport

Two sides who find themselves battling it out at the foot of the Premier League table, Burnley will make the trip to a struggling Watford on Saturday night.

Starting with the hosts, last seen away at Manchester City getting hit with a routine drumming on the road, Watford are in the midst of a Premier League nightmare. Eventually suffering a 5-1 defeat at the Etihad, the Hornets have really failed to find any kind of form under Roy Hodgson. Appearing to freefall their way back to the Championships, the one-time England boss has also seen his downbeat squad continue on to break a host of unwanted records. Losing six of their last five top-flight contests, it should also be noted that Watford have continued to show a string of issues on home soil. Last seen at Vicarage Road watching Brentford snatch a last-gasp winner, it should be noted that Saturday’s hosts have remarkably lost each of their last 10 straight matchups in front of their own supporters, a run that stems all the way back to November 20th.

As for the visitors, while Burnley might have been shocked to have seen long-term boss Sean Dyche leave Turf Moor earlier in the month, it does not appear to have dampened the mood in their camp. Last seen picking up a 1-0 victory at home against European outsiders Wolves, fans around Lancashire have also seen their side find a route out of the drop zone. Now appearing to be in a shootout with Everton to avoid the drop this season, interim boss Mike Jackson has seen his side collect seven points from their three games in charge. Likewise, claiming an impressive 2-0 win against Southampton on April 21st, Burnley should be smelling a golden chance this weekend. Unbeaten in each of their last four meetings against Watford, there is no doubt that an away draw no bet can be found at attractive odds.
