Bolton boss admits interest in Wright-Phillips

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has revealed his interest in Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.

The England international was on the verge of joining Trotters in January, but the deal eventually fell through.

Owen Coyle now admits he is ready for another assault on the City star.

“Shaun’s a terrific player but there are a number of things that must happen for a move to come off,” Coyle told The Sun.

“So, as yet, there’s not been any dialogue with Manchester City about Shaun, a fee or otherwise.

“I’m reluctant to speak about other team’s players but there’s no doubt he’s very talented.”

Wright-Phillips is looking to leave Eastlands in search for first team football and he is likely to be tempted by the prospect of joining last Premiership high-flyers Bolton.
