Borussia Dortmund win Pedrinho race

Bundesliga heavyweights Borussia Dortmund are said to have won the race to sing the highly-rated Corinthians ace, Pedrinho.

Brazilian media outlet Globo Esporte claims BVB have already held negotiations with the player’s agent Will Dantas and are now preparing a formal offer for Corinthians, which would suggest Pedrinho has given his nod to the German giants.

The 20-year-old Pedrinho is generating plenty of interest from around Europe. The likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid are among a host of other suitors linked to this highly versatile footballer who can fill in a No.10 role and also be deployed further wide.

He is said to be on a €50 million release clause but there is no mention of any transfer fee in the latest reports linking Pedrinho with Borussia Dortmund.

The Germans are looking to further bolster their ranks and continue the charge towards the Bundesliga title. The BVB are currently top of the crop with a nine-point lead over Bayern Munich.
