Brighton and Hove Albion have made changes last summer to bring in Graham Potter as their new head coach and with that, their Premier League season this year has been more comfortable then the last one, when they managed to beat the drop by four points. Now, albeit not completely safe, they are looking at new signings for the next campaign in the Premier League and they found one at Wigan Athletic.
According to Sky Sports, Brighton are close to signing teenage midfielder Jensen Weir. The 18-year-old is expected to join the club from the south coast for around 600,000 pounds. This deal is also incredibly important for Wigan, who fell into administration earlier this month and just one week after new owners were confirmed.
Weir is sone of former Scotland defender and current Brighton coach David Weir, therefore, this deal makes some sense for the Seagulls and a lot of sense for Wigan.
