Caulker linked with Ukrainian switch

Former England international Steven Caulker is considering a move to Arsenal Kiev, according to the Mirror.

The Ukrainian Premier League side, who are managed by Fabrizio Ravanelli have been in talks with the twenty-six-year-old who is a free agent after leaving Dundee on transfer deadline day.

Ravanelli is keen to bring in the experienced centre-back with his side sitting bottom of the table after back-to-back defeats.

Caulker made seventeen appearances for Dundee, scoring once while prior to that spell he had stints with Liverpool, Southampton, Queens Park Rangers, Cardiff City, Swansea City, Bristol City and Yeovil Town having began area with Tottenham Hotspur.

He is one of just a handful of players to have scored on his one and only appearance for England, though that game was remembered for a four goal haul from Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Sweden won 4-2 in a friendly almost six years ago.
